Trovon Reed talks camps

Rated as the No. 14 recruit in the country by Rivals.com, Reed will be visiting numerous college camps over the next couple months in hopes of keeping the attention of college coaches and scouts.

“The USC Rising Stars camp, the LSU camp, Oregon and I’m going to Florida,” Reed said as he named camps he’d be attending in the upcoming months. “That’s all I have, is camps.”

He’s also got offers from nearly every major school in the country, including LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma — and that’s just naming a few.

Despite all the focus Reed is getting from colleges, he’s keeping his focus on high school.

“I can’t let that get in my way,” he said. “I’ve got to stay focused, and just be with my team.”

Even the mention of his high ranking on Rivals.com doesn’t phase the soon to be senior quarterback.

“I’m not really worried about that,” Reed said. “That doesn’t really mean anything. That’s just based on what they think." [full story]
