Stills has NFL lineage and interest in VOLS

Kenny Stills (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) 6'1- 171 lbs picked up offers from Tennessee and Nebraska on Tuesday. The offer from the Vols is especially big because Stills said they were one of his favorites, even without an offer and they'll definitely get an official visit.

This kid has the upside to be a very good player at the next level. Stills is the son of former Vikings' and Packers' Free Safety Ken Stills and has been well schooled as a route runner. He has good size and an athletic, sturdy build.

A few months ago, Stills sounded like a USC lock and even said he might commit on the spot if they offered. The Trojans eventually did offer but the receiver said he now wants to check out his other options.

"They kind of waited a little too long," Still said. "I mean, I still like them a lot but while they waited, it allowed other schools to gain my interest. Don't get me wrong, I still like USC a lot and still planning to camp with them but it's going to be a dogfight now and they're going to have to compete just like every other school that's now recruiting me."

Right now, Stills plans to officially visit Florida, Penn State, and Tennessee and take unofficials to USC and UCLA.
As a Senior, Stills caught 16 tds for 1,274 yards. He has been invited to play in both the US and Under Armour All-American Games.
