Gainesville Police arrested and tased starting Florida cornerback Janoris Jenkins over the weekend after he was involved in a fight.
Jenkins was arrested on misdemeanor charges of affray and resisting arrest without violence, according to a report.
Police responded to a fight in the 100 block of South Main Street and arrived at the location around 2 a.m., Saturday to find a fight between Jenkins and about five others.
After police arrived and asked the individuals to quit fighting, Jenkins allegely hit a guy in the head. Jenkins was then hit with one cycle from the Taser, but afterwards stood up and ran away. [Full story]
